GRID Consulting recently joined forces with DAI, the combined entity of DAI & GRID portrays a strengthened local organization with deep-rooted networks, local insights, and track record of delivery in Nigeria.
In cementing the relationship of a stronger global organization, Ike Osakwe was appointed as a Board member of DAI - "Ike is an important addition to the DAI Board," said DAI President and Chief Executive Officer Jim Boomgard. "As a global development company committed to serving a diverse array of clients all over the world, DAI will benefit from Ike's extensive board experience, his record of principled leadership, his intimate understanding of the public sector and commercial consulting field, and his strategic insights into Nigeria and the global trends driving development more broadly."
GRID is already a partner on most of the half dozen projects DAI currently has under way in country. Complementing DAI's global resources GRID and DAI go back two decades, including long-standing relationships with DAI's-predecessor HTSPE and with Health Partners International. GRID has promoted social and economic development in Nigeria and across Africa, and now boasts a wide-ranging portfolio of more than 800 assignments.
From this integrated platform, supported henceforth by GRID's team in country, DAI will be better able to deliver our work in Nigeria, in full compliance with local laws and regulations and with DAI's global standards. This will enhance our collective ability to deliver development results both locally and globally.
